- Built a serverless RAG system using MongoDB Atlas Vector Search + Amazon Bedrock
- Created a Singapore price comparison tool with smolagents that uses VLM for visual web browsing
- Currently working as a Research Engineer at SMU for Explainable AI in Medical Imaging(

I'm a Research Engineer at Singapore Management University's HARCS Lab, developing AI-powered medical screening systems for head and neck cancer detection in collaboration with SingHealth. A Computer Science graduate from Universiti Sains Malaysia, I combine expertise in computer vision, large language models, and full-stack development to create explainable clinical decision support systems. My background includes work on unattended baggage detection and recognition in the Huawei Seeds for the Future 2024 program. Currently, I'm focused on advancing the intersection of vision-language models and agentic AI to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technologies and practical healthcare applications.

I was born in 1998 and always had this insatiable curiosity. From running one of Singapore’s largest fashion brands, to founding my own Web 3.0 startup, my journey has never been a dull moment. Now, as a data scientist in one of the world’s largest shipping companies, I’ve worked on multiple projects to satisfy this curiosity. One of my proudest moments was representing my company in the Google Trailblazer program where we worked on a novel text2sql chatbot. By combining a schema classifier and query skeleton similarity metrics, we managed to clinch the innovation award from Google.
